Brandon and Bianca chose to get married at the exquisite Brahman Hills in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands, and it was the most perfect backdrop for their beautifully elegant wedding.
I loved getting to know them on their engagement shoot and watch them laugh and interact and just be in love, let’s just say the chemistry sparks were flying! While on their engagement shoot, we chatted about the wedding and about their honeymoon, they told me that they’d be going to Cape Town for their honeymoon and were so excited. While photographing Bianca’s engagement ring, she told me that she wouldn’t be getting a wedding a band on her wedding day and she would only have her engagement ring, just so I was aware.
On their wedding day, as soon as I walked into the room that Bianca was getting ready in, she told me that she was feeling so emotional. The entire morning after that, every time someone so much as looked at her or just the thought of Brandon, made her cry tears of joy. It was beautiful to see that she was so open and vulnerable and that the realisation had hit that the day she’d been dreaming about her whole life was finally here. After Bianca had her hair makeup done, while she was sitting with her Bridesmaids, her mom handed her a box. It was a gift from Brandon. When she opened it, there was a bikini, a water bottle, slops and a letter. Bianca opened the letter and read the beautiful words Brandon had written to her, and in it he said that he’d be taking her to Thailand for their “real” honeymoon holiday. Bianca, of course, couldn’t hold back the tears and this time everyone encouraged her to cry as much as she needed to now so she could still retouch her make-up properly one last time.
At the ceremony, after Brandon and Bianca had exchanged vows, next came the wedding rings. As Brandon slipped Bianca’s engagement ring on her finger, he also slipped on a wedding band. When she looked down at her hand and saw the rings, she burst into tears and looked at Brandon, he had the biggest smile on his face seeing her reaction.
While walking out of the chapel, Bianca’s mom looked over at me and said “they really are so in love, aren’t they?” and they truly were. Brandon couldn’t take his eyes off of his beautiful bride and she couldn’t stop looking at him utterly in love and completely happy.
Wishing you guys the most wonderful trip to Thailand and a wonderfully happy life together!
Thank you for allowing me to be a part fo your exceptionally special day.
